About the initiative

Future We Want brings together diplomats, senior officials, business leaders, investors and experts, to build cooperation in a fragmented world. Its name comes from the Rio+20 outcome document and the Sustainable Development Goals. FWWMUN, founded in 2017, grew from the New York Young Global Leaders Summit, organized in 2012 by the International Committee for UN Education and Culture (ICCE). Today the initiative is promoted by the World Council for Youth & Diplomacy (WCYD), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in New York, in collaboration with the Italian Diplomatic Academy and the New York Academy of Diplomacy.
